Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of the Queenkan mobile app and the queenkan.com website (the “Service”), provided by appstdo (the “Developer”).

1. Purpose

These Terms set out the rights, obligations, and responsibilities of the Developer and users in connection with use of the Service.

2. Definitions

  1. “Service” means the Queenkan logic puzzle game and related features provided via device or browser.
  2. “User” means anyone who uses the Service under these Terms.
  3. “Content” means all puzzles, text, graphics, designs, and other materials provided within the Service.

3. Effect and Changes to the Terms

  1. These Terms take effect when posted within the Service or on the website.
  2. The Developer may amend these Terms within the limits of applicable law and will give advance notice of the effective date and reason for material changes.
  3. If you do not agree to amended Terms, you may stop using the Service and uninstall the app.

4. Provision and Changes to the Service

  1. The Developer provides: logic puzzle play, daily challenges, leaderboards/achievements (when signed in to game services), and limited free puzzle play on the web.
  2. The Developer may modify or discontinue all or part of the Service for operational or technical reasons, with advance notice for material changes.

5. Use of the Service and Advertising

  1. The Service is provided free of charge and may include advertising to cover operating costs.
  2. To protect new users, ads are not shown during an initial period of play.
  3. Ad serving and advertising-identifier handling are governed by the Privacy Policy.

6. Paid Services (Planned)

  1. The Developer may in the future offer paid items such as ad removal or in-game currency (coins). As of the effective date of these Terms, no paid purchases are offered.
  2. If paid items are introduced, payment and refunds will follow the policies of the Apple App Store and Google Play, as well as applicable consumer-protection laws.
  3. Details such as refund rules for consumable digital goods will be added to these Terms when paid items launch.

7. User Obligations

You must not:

  1. Interfere with the normal operation of the Service (e.g., manipulating scores by unfair means, using automation tools).
  2. Copy, distribute, or reverse-engineer the Service or Content without authorization.
  3. Violate applicable law or these Terms.

8. Intellectual Property

  1. Intellectual property rights, including copyright, in the Service and Content belong to the Developer.
  2. You may not use the Content for commercial purposes without the Developer’s prior consent.

9. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

  1. The Service is provided “as is.” The Developer is not liable for damage arising from causes beyond its reasonable control, such as force majeure or failures of platforms, carriers, or third-party services (Apple, Google, Cloudflare, etc.).
  2. The Developer is not liable for loss of game data resulting from your device settings or inadequate backups.
  3. The Developer’s liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law.

10. Governing Law and Disputes

  1. These Terms are governed by and construed under the laws of the Republic of Korea.
  2. The Developer and users will seek to resolve disputes in good faith; absent resolution, disputes will be subject to the courts having jurisdiction under the Civil Procedure Act of the Republic of Korea.
  3. If you use the Service as a consumer outside the Republic of Korea, nothing in these Terms deprives you of the protection of mandatory consumer-protection provisions of the law of your country of residence.
